A political body es un acercamiento a cómo podría o debería ser, pensar o actuar un cuerpo político, qué significa ser políticx, vivir involucradx políticamente. Lanzo la cuestión y permito que el cuerpo y la voz respondan, a través de la práctica de moverme y hablar al mismo tiempo. Un cuerpo político habla; trasciende el género; es, está, siente, tiene sexo, hace el amor; se busca a sí misma; es muchos cuerpos.

El texto se genera desde el propio movimiento, repitiendo la práctica hasta que se consolida, que es diferente a sentarse a escribir y luego reproducirlo mientras se baila, puesto que la manera de pensar se amplía cuando la energía corporal fluye.

En esta performance pido a las personas del público que se vayan cuando lo deseen mientras yo sigo moviéndome, pero se mantienen en el espacio y hacen suya la performance, se apropian de ella, comienzan a bailar y a generar su propio final.

A political body is an approach to how a political body could or should be, think or act, what it means to be political, to live politically involved. I ask the question and allow the body and the voice to respond, through the practice of moving and speaking at the same time. A body politic speaks; it transcends gender; is, feels, has sex, makes love; she looks for herself; is many bodies.

The text is generated from the movement itself, repeating the practice until it is consolidated, which is different from sitting down to write and then playing it back while dancing, as the way of thinking expands when the body’s energy flows.

In this performance I ask the people of the audience to leave whenever they wish while I keep moving, but they stay in the space and make the performance their own, they appropriate it, and begin to dance and generate their own ending.
